Need some Rear Bumper photos of Stepside - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hi everyone.. I am looking for some rear end shots of a stepside bumper. I have the stock large step bumper and cant make my mind up if I want to go with a pan or smooth rear bumper. Please help me out with any after market smooth bumpers for a stepside.

Way back in 1976 I bought a brand spanking new stepper, here's a shot of the factory sport bumper.

Don't dog me too bad over the wood, sunroof and taillights, remember, it was the 70's man! Groovy!

here is mine.its not a smooth thou. i got the truck from the one owner. i dont know the brand, i can look for a stamp tonite.

Thanks any more? I really dont want to cut up the bumper. I would like to buy one but one that doesnt look bad or at least as bad as the one thats on it now.!

Any body in PA? I was thinking about a pan but I was told the laws are changing and if the truck came with a bumper it needs to be on it.

Heres my 76 stepside, im doing away with the stepper bed, but after looking at other peoples steppers i dont think mine has the original stepside rear bumper.

thats a fleet side sport bumper
A step side sport bumper only has 4 bolts holes

Thanks for the info on the bumpers. Kinda wierd my stepside has the fleetside bumper.
