Not new but First posting!!!

Hi all!!! I've been on the site a while but have never posted!! I joined some time ago when I was working on a '67 SWB I came up with. I sold that some time ago to buy a '69 Camaro drag car. After 2 years of that and trying to work on these other old trucks I decided I needed to either go one direction or the other so I have since sold the Camaro and am full on this '53 5 window now!!! Anyway thanks for having me and I look forward to learning a lot more from this site!!!
Here's my toys!!!!

Well folks, here we have DW who doesn't type unless he has something to say amd a photo to show. and I'd say that little truck is well worth posting some photos of. That's a sweet looking Camaro too but I can well relate to the too many projects or interests thing.
What are the plans for the truck?

Re: Not new but First posting!!!

Mr48chev my plans for the truck is just a cool cruiser/daily driver. Its got a mildly built 355 with a turbo 350 and a 2500 stall. .373 gears out back. It runs good but isn't going to break any land speed records that's for sure. Although I do still have some nitrous plates and bottles layin around from the Camaro....
But really I just wanna do cruises and maybe some low end shows, its just a driver..... Here's some more pics. I had to buy a new camera and I just got off night shift at 5:00am so i'm not sure how good they'll be!!!!

Also like to add that i'm happy to be here and now posting. I hope to learn a lot from here!!!

Re: Not new but First posting!!!

Driving them is what it is all about. That truck sounds like it can run with the big dogs already. I rather prefer the smaller shows and enjoyed going to events a bit out of my local area when I was going all the time.
