I know this aint much but man what a difference it made! I have had a complete set of lenses for a 68 stashed away for YEARS! Still trying to find the fender lenses...Well I finally put them to good use on my new 68 thanks GMCPauls! And WOW what a difference! Check it out! I also got my Blazer tank from UPS yesterday! So I will be starting that swap soon!...Should be interesting!

Sounds good man! I am finally legal to drive it now! Got all that took care of yesterday! YESSSS! It is getting ready to go under the suspension knife soon! Going to do the whole deal balljoints, drop spindles, disc brakes, rebuild steering, etc etc all at the same time! Should look killer once I get finished! Got to find some 5 lug ralleys though! Would like to find a set of 7s and a set of 8s! IF you know of anyone please let me know!

Re: Spent some time with my 68 yesterday! Progress..
New Progress!
Replaced the drivers side window regulator the other day. Fixed the Door latch control rod. Replaced door locks and got them working. Also replaced the window handle and some other small stuff! Got more to do just have not had time yet. Also took it to the dealership I work at Sunday and put it on my lift and checked it out and greased everything up! Man it needed it! Should have got some pics of it then but I didnt have the camera. Will have my auto steering column and PS setup before long so that will go in. Then onto the suspension and moving of the gas tanks! But anyways here are some new pics I took today! lata CHRIS

Re: Spent some time with my 68 yesterday! Progress..
I thought you might want to see some interior pics. I realized I have not made any! The interior is actually alot cleaner than I realized.. I am not used to that. Most of my old trucks have had mediocre interiors at best! hehe This one has an excellent headliner, seat, carpet and dash pad.
I love this truck. Been wanting one just like this for many years. I will get it just right before long! One day at a time! lata CHRIS

Re: Spent some time with my 68 yesterday! Progress..
Thanks man! I really like this truck. When I put it on my lift at work I was amazed! The only thing I seen out of wack was the big holes that were torched out of the rear trailing arm crossmember to get the exhaust out. I am undecided what I am going to do with that. Looks to been that way for a long time! hehehe

Re: Spent some time with my 68 yesterday! Progress..
Chris,Chris,
Very nice truck you have there bud and you might want to change your name to short and sweet 68. I'll help you with the tank swap, you saw mine yesterday but we still got to route it through the bed. I noticed a couple of 67 items on your truck as the arm rest and the vents in the kick panels are 67 left over but give it apell too. See ya soon bro.
