Re: Any one useing a streo made by Dual???

i am using a dual head unit, it was the base model with no cd player but it has mp3 input as well as memory card slot, which i love cause i can put hundreds of songs on the memory and not scratch cds or have them skip on bumpy roads, i just hooked up a 450 watt alpine amp with a 12 in kenwood shallow mount sub the i got on cl both for $150, so for a lil over $200 i have a system that sounds alot better than the $200+ price tag, even with the $40 dual head unit, this thang hits HARD!!!!

I think that's the same one I got $50 from wal-mart but I got it in my 88 k1500 and not a 73-87, mines got aux input for mp3 and works good that way too, alot better then cd's or radio IMO. The thing has a nice bright blue display and buttons too.

Lol thanks, Ya gotta do what ya can to keep it on the road. some people make enough money to drop 5+ grand without even thinking. other people do what they can to keep it nice and replace or mod as it goes. Anyway, keep at it! it will pay off!

Oh, BTW its Matt not John
