What kind of mirror will match these holes?
I was wondering if someone can help me find mirrors that these holes will match. I wanted to use the mirrors that I had for my burb (72) but the holes don't match. So, instead of drilling out new holes, I thought I would find the mirror that would line up with these holes.
Thanks, Joe |

That would be the sport mirrors. The right one is almost good for nothing.

thats why i'm ditching them in favor of the tripod mirrors w/ the 7.5x10.5 heads so i can actually USE my 72 burb! |

Re: What kind of mirror will match these holes?
Thanks for the information. So I guess the sport mirrors are small? If I should go the other route and use the mirrors that came with the burb when I bought it, wouldn't these holes thats in it now make it rust?

Re: What kind of mirror will match these holes?
I have small, high mounted mirrors on my '72. The passenger side is useless, I can't see it at all when I'm driving, but the drivers side works very well. I left the passenger side on because I think it looks better than having just one mirror.
Joe, if I were in your shoes I'd use the mirrors that match those holes. You just painted the truck - are you going to fill those holes if you don't use them?

You can fill them with a stainless carriage bolt.

I'm not sure what to do. I'm going to try and find a picture of the sport mirrors to see what they would look like. If I like them, I may just put them on. I like lownslow idea of using stainless carriage bolts. Maybe try that. I'm not sure yet. |

Re: What kind of mirror will match these holes?
Thanks Wayne for the help. Those sport mirrors look really nice, still undecided though.
I see that you have a 69 camero. My very first car was a 69 camero and I would love to have her back. |

Re: What kind of mirror will match these holes?
My '69 was my first real classic ride. I enjoy it so much that I wanted to add a second, so I bought my '72 Burb.
