Salvage yards between Springfield and St Louis?

Does anyone know of any good yards around St. Louis, or on the way from Springfield MO to St. Louis? Mainly looking for 67-72's, but maybe some newer stuff also.

A little out of the way, but there was one in Walker, Mo. When I was there a few years ago, he had about 30 67-72's. Then there is Freeman's in Joplin.

Cabool isn't too far from me. Do you know the name? Did they have any 67-72's?

Walker is a pretty good drive from me, but if they have 30 or so of our trucks, it might be worth it.

Anyone know of any around St Louis?

I live on the other side of the river from STL in illinois. I haven't seen a 67-72 in any of the yards I visit in 5+ years. Recent high scrap prices thinned the herd significantly this close to the shredders.

Man, I hate to hear that, but I was kind of expecting that answer.

coast2coast, in Cabool there is John's Auto Salvage. 417-962-3237.I've never been there so I don't know what he has. But it does'nt seem like there are many of these trucks left in the salvage yards around here.

If you don't mind my asking, what town are you close to? I'm about 45 min east of Cabool and get over toward Springfield quite a bit. I grew up around Lamar so I know SW MO fairly well.

I live in Strafford now. I grew up in Ava. Not much to pick through up here. Ava had a few trucks sitting around, but like others have said, most of them have been scrapped.
