side storage box question

I thought these were only on longhorns?

I just picked up a 72 and initially thought it was a longhorn because of that box .

After finally gettin home I looked it over and dont remember seeing that body line showing the extra 6 inches of bed. of course the truck has been re painted so maybey they filled that area in?

Not exclusive to Longhorns. Any 8 foot bed could have one.
