Got to love it

It snowed here saturday. We ended up getting about 10 inches. Well needless to say I had to go play. It was great passing people in there front wheel drives sliping and sliding. lol Pulled about 7 people out of snow drifts while i was messing around. Made some good money charging 20.00 a car.
Not to bad for 2 hours worth of work.

Thats cool. You should start your own business plowing peoples driveways and call it "Mr. Plow" that name again is "Mr. Plow" , for those of you who watch the Simpsons.

Sounds like a good deal $20 for you and they get out. They couldnt get it cheaper from a tow truck. You should do it everychance you get. The take that money to vegas and loose it, but try to win

even in my 2wd i usually pull people out. but i have never charged them. i guess i am just too nice. i dont have money, and wouldnt want someone to not pull me out cause i couldnt pay them. i have been push/pulled out of places or had the boat towed back to the dock.. if i see someone broke down i usually try to stop, depending on the part of town or what not. not because i see it as a opportunity to make money, but because i wouldnt want to be broke down with no tools and no way of getting home.. i see too many people worry about money, i know money is a good thing, i like money myself.. but i see toooo many greedy people everyday.. always wanting something for nothing. i am in no way calling anyone around here greedy. just making my point.... at anyrate i think i have said too much.. and that my user text is becoming truth again.. i will step down now.....

The part that i did'nt put in my post was the number of people that i didnt charge. It was only after I figured what kinda strain i was putting on my truck is when i started charging people. It's not my problem stupid people try to go driving around in the mess we had in rear wheel drive cars or front wheel drive cars thinking they can get through a drift as high as there car. So they deserve to get stuck and pay someone to pull there dumb a** out. I to am a one of the nicest guy you would ever meet. Even go as far as giving someone the shirt off my back or giveing someone a lift 2 hours out of my way but we all have our limits of stupidity.

I agree with both of you. I have stopped a few times to lend a hand or tool or even let them make a call on my cell phone. But I have never done it without a 45 in my waist band. I just dont trust alot of these people anymore. So many people will leave you in a ditch for $20 or your ride. A friend in high school was robbed at gun point for his gold chain, when we was taking off his chain, they said what size shoes are those, well they then said, take-em off. He lost his shoes and his chain walking home from school....not cool

I don't ask for anything but most people usually offer. I wont accept anything from older people. And I usually will only take a $5 or a $10 off those that look like they can afford it if it's offered.

I stop and help anyone who I see in need and I normally don't ask for anything! I figure if the shoes where reversed what would I do if I could not pay? But if they offer something like a drink if they ever see me in a bar later I'll take that! But I think I get paid enough just by the feeling I get when I help people out. As for being robbed, "You can't get blood from a turnip!" But then again I used to leave the keys in the ignition of my car just incase someone needed to use it in an emergency. But since my wife hates it when I do that I've had to stop doing it or deal with a fire ball!

PHOENIX...

Sure the keys are in the 84 chevy in the drive and they are in the 69 GMC but it's locked in the garage!!!! So you'll have to settle for the 84 once I get it running!
