Arrow Valve Covers for my '62... What should I get fellas?

Guys,

I am looking into buying some valve covers for my Ole '62.
What are your opinions on what I should choose???
They must have Breather Hole And Oil Fill Cap on them
I do like classic look Chevrolet Script...

Re: Valve Covers for my '62... What should I get fellas?

I got the black finned Edelbrock valve covers and they look grate but I have had nothing but trouble with them. The oil cap they sell for it doesn't fit right and even with the extra thick Mr. Gasket valve cover gaskets I had the hardest time keeping them from leaking. I am disappointed in Edelbrock.

Anything finned looks great. I just picked these bad boys up, they now shine like chrome but still have a ( I hate this word ) patina to them. Oh, and you can use a oil filler cap from a 79 Capri so you wont have to drill breather holes.

i like the finned as well...i'm leaning towards getting the Cal Custom type finned ones for my 327...i don't really like logos on the valve covers

I like every one you've suggested, except for the flamed ones. Those just aren't my thing. I might have bought the scripted covers myself, but I didn't care for the flat area they cast in the side for the smog valve.

Thumbs up Re: Valve Covers for my '62... What should I get fellas?

Yea....
These are my favorite so far:

The only thing is the PCV, Breather, and Oil Fill:
PML makes these valve covers without holes.
The covers have a recessed cast-in location on intake manifold side that can be machined for PCV, breather, or oil fill.
PML can machine holes for $40 per hole, and holes and be either 1" or 1.22" in diameter.
They said you can call to order if you would like PML to machine a hole for you.

These look nice:

These are ok, but not finned.
