Tested out the hoist today
It worked! Lifted a complete 454! It grunted, cracked and popped but it got the job done. This is the heaviest thing that I have lifted with it.

Make a slide down drop leg for the hoist. Then picking up heavy objects like that won't be so hard on the truck. Just drop the leg and pin it in place while lifting. Then remove the pin, slide the leg back up and repin and drive away. A buddy of mine does that and says he wouldn't do it any other way. WES
