Will 71-72 door panels fit a 70?

Well? I've got a 70 C10 and have a chance to pick up an interior out of a 71 or 72 k20. Is there anything that won't fit?

71 door panels will work, and 72 door panels will need some parts changed in order to work. If they are plastic panels they are 72. Better find out for sure what year they are.

Just found out that it's a 72. Will they work or require modification?

I am not 100% sure but I think that 72 plastic door panels are thicker and require longer shafts for the window crank and door levers when used on '71 and older vehicles.

different window regulators/shaft and door handle stuff......the crank shafts are longer on the 72 than the 67-71.

Re: Will 71-72 door panels fit a 70?

Picked up a nice 69 the other week for my son to drive to high school next yr but the doors where alittle rusty, however I found a 72 chenn lwb truck with nicer doors on it, so there going on the 69 and we are gonna swap out the front carrier and the rearend so it will be 5 lug on all 4 corners and the have the power disc brakes mostly. After that the rest of the truck will be for sale and its a AC truck........
Same color interior on the 69 as the 72 so that worked out real nice!

Well, I'm replacing all the regulators and hardware anyway, so I can just buy 72 model stuff and it should work right?
