A bunch of tow hook questions.
I did a little searching, so I will try to ask only questions which I didn't see answers to.
1. Were all 67-72 4x4s equipped with hooks? 2. If not, were the holes always in the frame, or were they added to fit the hooks? 3. Assuming the holes are already in the frame, is there a non OEM part that bolts directly to them without modification? |

Re: A bunch of tow hook questions.
1. NO
2. NO. I believe some frames had holes and no hooks, but I could be mistaken about that. On my '69 4x frame I don't have any pre-drilled holes. 3. Not to my knowledge.

Re: A bunch of tow hook questions.
This is what i used on my 72 k10 and what they look like in place, got them from the wrecking yard from a blazer, bolt it to the existing frame (one hole) and angle it a bit mark it/remove it watch your knuckles and drill, then install , nice and clean, the blazer was a 79 that they came from.

This. My 70 4x4 6 cyl blazer has the holes in the frame for it, but didn't have them.
