Where to start when restoring a vehicle
Im about get a 1969 c10 the rocker panels rusted small dent on the fender and some other rust, It will definitley need some body work. It has a stock 307 motor in it that is leaking oil but it does run. I'm not sure if I want to rebuild it or swap it out for a 350 yet. I just don't no where to start of course Im on a budget and know that the project will take years to complete. I just want to no the steps most pople take when restoring a vehicle. Any advice will be appreciated

Sazien,
What are your plans for the truck? A complete tear down? My advice would be to break it down into small projects and take them on one at a time as you are ready. A rolling restoration. This way you can budget your way through it as well as get some enjoyment out of your truck along the way. It's a bummer having it all apart for a long time an not being able to drive it. Steve

Steve is sooooo right. Figure out what you really intend to do with this truck.. If it's not that bad I agree do small projects and keep driving it. A frame off restoration takes many years and many dollars.... Let us know what you do...
