Looking to turn my slammed 77 short bed to a dually. Has anybody done this? Any pics?

There was a guy here locally that built one a few years back. Next time I see him I'll try and see if he has any pics of it.

Re: 73-87 shorted dually pics

Thanks cheese! Glad to see the large fenders on the short bed don't look stupid.

So the plan is to slap a one ton rear end and suspension under the rear and a 1 ton front suspension under the front, slammed of course and turn it into a tow vehicle for my 30 foot scarab speed boat! Should look pretty sweet hitched together!

Re: 73-87 shorted dually pics

Man, I hate to hear he's trying to sell that wagon. That's a one-of-a-kind car and he's already got a lot of work done on it.
OTOH, he's a top shelf customizer, can't wait to see what he comes up with on the truck. I'm thinking about doing something similar with my '94 SWB, already have the fenders. Maybe a big engine under the hood, 502 or bigger. I'd like to spin 'em all!
