nv4500 clutch issues

Guys I have had a 6.5t and nv4500 swapped into my 80 model dually for a few years now. When the hydro clutch is working right it is good. The problem lies in that every now and then the hydro part will go south on me. I don't like not being able to trust this truck for long trips no more. The presure plate is stock to a 6.5. Any upgrades to the hydro parts off something else? Different bellhousing to use to go mech? The last go round had flywheel faced, new pivot stud and fork with new clutch. thanks
