step side fender liner??????

So I've been searching with no luck, I was wondering if any one has made fender liners for the rear step box fenders, I am thinking about a repaint on my 77 but want to get some liners figured out so I don't star up the new paint on the tops of the fenders. even tho it dosent see gravel roads (and if it does its sloooow) it still seems to find rocks on pavement.

any help would be great, or ideas on what else I could do. Pics are good too

thanks Bark

I dont believe anyone makes them. I used a top quality undercoating/ chip guard on mine and never had a problem. It saw more than its share of dirt roads, burnouts etc. 3m, dynatron and sem are just a few i can think of.

k, I might have to look for a heavier one, I used a proform under coat last time, but it was way to thin. I was thinking the spray box liner stuff might be a good idea

Have em put linex or rhino liner under there.... it'd have to be huge rock to dent through that stuff.

Re: step side fender liner??????

problem solved, I was looking at one of our dodge work trucks, and noticed that they run a plastic liner in the fender wells, So I went to a parts truck, grabbed the liners out, and they fit great, had to do a little trimming on the bottom, two bolts into the box side, and drilled two holes in the liners for the fender support rods to pass thro. and they fit like factory,

DONE!!!!!! the list is getting shorter...lol
