Here's a picture I took of a snowy 54-55 1st series rotting away in Northern North Dakota. I've got it in hi res if you want.

It's sat there for at least 20-25 years according to my wife. It belongs to a family member of hers.

I like the blazer in the feild, it reminds me of the cheesey effects in the original star wars movie. you know when luke and ben are ridding around in the speeder.

There are lots of good ones under the stovebolt page's "It ran when it was parked" contest. It's too bad they are all low res. It's fun to look at anyway.

Hehe, yep, it's pretty much all like that (fortunately), shouldn't be too hard to sand down to bare metal. I guess that's what happens when there's a camper on a truck for 35 years. The truck came from the dealer with the camper on it and everything; the previous owner was a camping freak. My parents had the truck for about 26 years, and hardly ever used it. That picture above was taken about 20 minutes after I took some camper jacks and lifted the camper off of the bed. After 35 years, I'm sure the truck felt naked

Thanks toms68cst; I do have some more pictures from the day that I took the one above, I'll have to find those... I'll probably be taking some pics of the interior and engine this weekend for personal reference, so I can see how far I'm progressing with my project. I'll post them on the board or send you an email when I take them.
