Going Low and Classic!

Hi guys. I want to buy some rims for my 72. Want to use radial T/A's. Originally i was thinking in a set of cragar ss's. My truck has a 4/6 inch drop kit from early classics. I want something thats classic, i love cars with that old school look, so i decided to ask for your opinion for the matter. Im willing to go from 15" to 17"
preferably wider on the rear... dont like fat tires on the front. Pics of any ideas happily welcome! Heres some pics of my truck. Thanks!

Re: Going Low and Classic!

always go with the classic 15x7 (front) 15x8 (rear) rallies /w caps rings.. or 15x7 (front) -15x8 (rear) slots.. with some bfg t/a's .. always liked both looks..

Re: Going Low and Classic!

I like you, like the old school look. I am thinking about going back to my Corvette rallys, rather than the chrome rallys I have now. 15x10 rear with 15x8 front.

Re: Going Low and Classic!

17" Torque Thrusts are very classy. I love them. But, if you're going for the old school look, 17's will take you to another level. You will not find the tires you're really looking for with the fats and skinnies look.

As for a 15x8-15x6 combo, do a search for Powell72. His truck had 15x8 and 15x6.5 rally wheels with 275/60/15 rear, 245/60/15 front. It now has a 15x8,15x7 TTII combo with the same tires.

I have a set of (2)15x8 and (2)15x6.5 rallies I'm fixing to sell. The 8" wheels have 275/60/15 tires, but I haven't mounted any front tires yet. I was gonna get some 225/70/15 or 215/70/15 tires for them.
