welding on rearend?
is it ok to weld on the rear axle with everything intact? i did some work to my trailing arms straitening them out and now my pinion angle is off. i want to cut my axle saddles off and reweld them in a better position. is this ok? thanks

I would be careful as to how much heat you apply.Skip your welds from side to side so it dn't warp the tubes.I've welded spring perches without any problems

2 nd that, take you time & keep the heat down. if you can run a mig on it it will be less heat than the old stick welder also. Another thought, you should be able to get wedge shims to change the angle ....good luck,crazyL
