Need numbers help
A guy gave me a set of ram horn exhaust manifolds the other day. He didn't know what they came off of except a GM engine. Could anyone cross reference this number for me? 3932481 is cast into to manifolds. I would like to go back to stock on my "72" but, not sure which manifolds are correct ones. Appreciate all help.

My book lists 3932481 as 1969 Y body (Corvette) RH side. Note that most rams horn style manifolds are interchangeable right to left except for any accessory mounts that are cast on to the manifold.

Will these manifolds work on "72" with 350 engine? Both look identical, dumping straight down. I've noticed some rams dump at a curve toward the back of engine. I don't know a thing about these manifolds and would appreciate someone educating me. I want to go back to Rams to get away from noise of headers and fighting leaks. (I'm getting old and don't like the noise anymore,Ha!)

If your truck is a 2WD with the engine in the normal "forward" 2WD V-8 position, it is tough to use straight down dump rams horns. It is very hard to get enough bend in the pipes to get behind the engine cross member. Those are basically the same manifolds that were used on 4WD trucks, where the engine is mounted a little farther back. With 2 1/2" straight down dump rams horns on my 4WD Blazer, the exhaust barely clears the cross member. I think some people on this board have used those manifolds on 2WD trucks though, I am not sure how - maybe notch the cross member?
