RWL in or out?
I know it all comes down to personal taste but I'm really on the fence on this one. On all my trucks I've always ran raised white letters out on 33" and smaller and ran them in on 35" and bigger...no real reason why its just the way I thought it should be done.
I just ordered a new set of BFG 35"x12.50x15 Mud Terrain KM2s and mounting them on rally wheels to go on my black 72 K-10...after viewing some other trucks on the board I'm kinda leaning towards running the letters out..just wanted to get some other opinions??

Personally all my rides have them in. But on my old 71 K10 I ran em out with the rally style wheel. When I switched to white steel wheel with dog dish caps I turned the white letters in.
With a rally I think it will look great either way. |

If your on the fence running them in is a safer bet... I prefer them in always.

I prefer to turn them in. They always get scuffed up and look like crap.

I prefer them out, and stay of the curbs.

Whatever you want. I have always ran black myself except for a VW autocrosser I had in the 70's that had some pretty expensive Firestone racing tires I wanted to show off.

Out. You still see them when they are in, an IMHO that just looks stupid. Rallies, black truck, out will look great.
BFGs don't scuff as easy as other brands.

I agree, you can still see the letters when they are in - UNLESS you get a can of black tire paint and paint over them - and that's what I would do.

I like them out on a lifted truck, and in on a lower height truck. Just my 2 cents.

On a black truck, I think it would look sweet either all blacked out or RED letters out, isn't that available on BFG's? I'm another one to always run black out.
Either way, I like pretty much every truck on this board, I'm sure it'll be cool.

Tires came in and it was a last minute decision...went RWL out! hope I like it, but if not its not that big of a deal to turn them around.

Nice tires, I have a pair on my 72 Blazer and they ride nice and have excellent traction. I havent needed 4WD yet.
Its a long story on why I only have two of them.

Got it all back together and pretty happy with results...white letters or not I really think the rally wheels were a Big improvement over the Outlaw II wheels that were on it before. These look much more period correct.

 That's a slick truck. It's hard to beat a set of rally's. What are the specs on it? 4" lift with 35's???

I agree those look a lot better than outlaw 2's. I have really grown to not like the outlaw 2's because they were everywhere not so long ago.
