your thoughts on cherry bomb vortex's

I need a whole new exhaust on my 71 c10 its got a 305 in it. I was thinking about cherry bomb vortexs cuz they got the sound I want and I can just dump them after the muffler till I have more money to get the rest of the exhaust. I'm on a really tight buget and the vortex are only 80 bucks give or take which size I get. I was just wondering what yall thought of the vortex and if yall like them. Thanks.

80 bucks apiece? or for the pair.

Heck to get you started, if you're on that tight of a budget, you can get some cheap-o turbo mufflers from the parts store for about 25 bucks apiece. That's what I do with most of my rigs until I can afford the exhaust I want.

2 1/2 inch pipe from headers to a cheap-o turbo muffler, then about 6 inches more pipe after that... lookin' at about 80 bucks total...

Once I save my nickles and dimes for the exhaust I want... then I splurge.

i've got those cherry bombs. I really like em and they have a good tone.
But just like gasonline71 i'm gonna get some different mufflers (flowmasters)when i got more cash. I know everybody wants flowmaster 40s, but after you hear em, you'll know why. LOL

I have enough to get the vortexs and I'm going to add on to them down the road more then likely. But ya 80 for one and I'm going with duals.
