Kinda like Jamie Lee Curtis, Older, Accessorized, but still built for speed! Man that was fun. Cops came by an hour and a half later. I had the truck parked on the trail of rubber, they smiled, waved and kept on going..... guess it's my day!

Re: Aerotruk63 Video LOL

Bored out 250, Head off a 194 with 1.94 intake, 1.88 exhaust. Ported and polished. I was told a 230 or 250 head would have been better as they are open chamber as the 194 head is closed chamber. Clifford Performance headers ( 2X3 into 1 ) and 4 barrel intake, with 460 Holley running on the primary's only, to much carb for this little engine, Cam, honestly can't remember the spec's. Harmonic balancer from GM 350 NASCAR Nodular Iron, machined 1/4" off the snout. Stock distributer with Pertronix electronic unit, Accel coil. The guy who machined the motor had some 307 aluminum pistons he threw in cause who builds a 307, but they were just right for the bored out 250. Think's it's about 11:1 compression ratio. Dual 2 " exhaust from off of the collectors into a Dynomax X flow with dual 2 1/4" tailpipes. Sounds funny dosn't it. Like a swarm of angry Bee's as it's been described.

Re: Aerotruk63 Video LOL

Doesn't sound funny to me. I love a six with split pipes, a cam, and some carburetion. Have no idea why but it never occurred to me you had a six cylinder.

I've read one of the tricks guys did back in the 40's to make them even louder was to split the pipes unevenly - 4/2 or 5/1. Can't say I've ever heard one set up this way, but it was suppose to be really wicked sounding.

Re: Aerotruk63 Video LOL

It's actually to loud for me, I have another Dynomax I'll be adding to it. For now it's OK. Everyone who has driven it beats on it. They get out with a smile. The common comment is that it keeps pulling, you wind the p**s out of it and it keeps wanting to go higher.
