Almost finished

Well to the 71 4x4 out today for a little run of a 150 miles to see what it would do. Runs great sounds awesome and it was fun to drive.
I only have a couple of things to do to finish it and it will be done.
Here are a couple of pictures I took when I got home.
CG I hope I've done you proud. Thanks for selling it to me.

That thing looks great... I would be proud to drive it for sure. I suppose he will want to trade back the Caddy now...

Wow - Nice Truck!

I would suggest, however, a 2" block in the rear to level it out so it doesn't look like you're launching off the line all the time!

I've always liked your truck..you've done a great job on it. I never have been a fan of camper shells on these years of trucks but it looks right on yours...is it an older one?

I love how you say it's "Almost Finished". You do realize that every truck on this board is "almost finished", right?

Its not a old one. I had it built last month. The owner of the canopy shop owns a 72 Chev and builds them to fit the bed with out hanging over the sides and tapers them to follow the cab just right.

This might be a roundtouit project some day. But I think CG would be upset with me.
He likes the old Gasser look.

X2 Definitely one of my favorites too. I love the wide steel wheels and hub caps.

Thats the part that needs to be finished. Having trouble getting my fat gut over the top of the radiator.
Needs the valve covers changed out and the intake glass beaded and the sanding dust cleaned up.
