question of the day is pull motor tranny out as a whole? pull motor seperate from tranny? do i need to pull the radiatior support to get this little bugger out? thanks! any heads up is appreciated. I feel i need the hands of an oriental woman to work on this thing.

Re: motor pull on a 98
leave the tranny and rad. support.
this is pretty straight forward aside from the 2 upper bolts on the driver's side of bell housing. I have found it easier to remove the steering intermediate shaft and lift body 2 or 3 inches. another thing that makes it easier is to remove engine wiring harness from under the fuse block and lay it all over the pass. fender. why the motor pull? |

Re: motor pull on a 98
I have found it easier to pull the trans with the engine on 2 wheel drive trucks atleast. The body can be left alone
