88-98 bed

I am trying to decide if i want to leave the 88-98 step bed on my truck. This is the way i bought it and i really would like to get it on he road but the cost of finding a fleet(optimal) or stepper bed is out of my price range for now. does anyone have pictures of the newer bed on 67-72 truck. Is there clearance issues with it? Mine is not attached and is sitting at an awful angle so i think spacers are a must.

Here is a picture of my '67 with a mid 90's stepside before I took it off to get the truck ready for an age appropriate step-side.

I have seen others on here that were finished and lowered and did not look too bad. I guess it depends on the look a person is going for and their budget.

I think I had the bed on my '67 before I could find a swb stepper bed in great shape for a good price.

I did use my '67 here on the farm quite a bit with the mid 90's step-bed.

Re: 88-98 bed

Those were the pictures I was looking for but could not find in my computer. Thank you for posting them. I will save them and maybe the next time I will be able to find them.
