S10 gas tank dimensions
Wondering if an S10 tank might work in place of my 49 Panel tank.
Any you frame swappers have time to measure your tank ?

Re: S10 gas tank dimensions
There are at least two different S-10 tanks. I have a 87 that was originally a 2.8/4spd truck that has the smaller tank that does not extend under the cab at all. The larger tanks have a "step" that tucks under the cab a little. I can measure my "smaller" tank if that helps you at all.

Re: S10 gas tank dimensions
If the smaller tank is 13.2 maybe you won't need to check yours.
I just found this..... http://www.1aauto.com/1A/Gas-Tank/Ch...tm_content=FGT 114.95 with shipping ! Repo tank from Jim Carters.......with shipping over $400 ! http://www.oldchevytrucks.biz/47_55/full.asp?page=113 That would be worth it if my panel was really nice.

Panel tank options
May consider the 70 Mustang idea like on the trucks, put my spare inside ?
My tank is pretty rough.

Re: S10 gas tank dimensions
Good thing about not having any money is I can't rush out and buy stuff.
I've got all this time (as I'm saving) to think and look at options. What do you think about this ? http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Street...Cell,2524.html
