I Did search but didnt find exactly what i needed to know so here goes. I have a 65 longbed that currently has 4 inch drop from Cpp... 2 inch spindles and 2 inch spring up front and 4 inch springs out back. I will only be running 15 inch wheels and dont want to lay frame but I WANT IT LOWER!!. I am not against a small c-notch in back but do not want to loose my bedwood or cut my wheelwells, and not cut away the aprons in front either. Not interested in raising the bed floor either, So is this possible? Has anyone bagged their truck leaving the stock Bed wood ect,,, Any help and info or pics on the matter would be appreciated! Here is a pic of how it sits now

It's very doable. You can run a small notch that will get your pumpkin about 1" or less from the bottom of the bed. In the front you can remove the factory bump stops and build a set that will get you about 1" from the fenderliners.

This will allow you to go low, but still roll in the event of a system failure. You will need to look at what this does with your drive shaft. That might be a concern that the 60-66 guys can answer.

As long as you dont notch it you can keep you bed in its current location- once you notch it you run the risk of pumpkin in the wood. Do you want to drive it while it is slammed? If so- you need to modify your bed and notch it. My set-up had the original bed and no notch and it sat pretty low while standing but if you drove it it rod on the frame rails and was REAL rough.

Here is what I would recommend:
Drop spindles 2.5" at least
Sway bar front and rear (minimally on the front)
No notch
Mount your bags right to the trailing arms.

Take a look at the back end of my truck for an idea of how low you can get w/o a notch. Mine is a stepper so yours will look even lower.
By the by- I can run about 20lbs in the back which is an inch or 2 higher than slammed and cruise fine on most roads.

Check my build in signature. My 65 front xmember sets about 2" off the ground on stock spindles and the rear has a small rolled notch about 2" into the frame. In the back its about as low as you can go without hitting the floor. My front lower a-arms are modified by me for the bag.

First let me say NICE Truck!

We have had great sucess with our bolt in C-notch and lower tubular arms. The arms have a slightly lower bump stop position. The bump stop is progressive and has a real smooth ride. I have removed other brands of lowering parts and installed our parts, lowered the truck even more than before and the owners report that it drives more comfotible, with less bottoming. This set up may be just what you are after.

Did I already say NICE Truck?

Your saying that it is just 2" drop spindals in front and thats all? What about the back? What size tires and rims are you running. LOOKS DAMN SWEET!!!!

They are not 5X5 bolt pattern, I think they are 5 X 4.75

They are 5x5.5 and came on Dodge Rams with premium wheels, I'll dig up some years.
