The Circuit Rider Update

I talked to Curt (he is doing the resto) and the Circuit Rider is on the road and sounding mean. It has a mild Crane RV cam and it's just enough lump to let you know it's got a little muscle to flex. The paint is all buffed out. Had a short but found it-it was one of the rubber gaskets in the cab interior light-it was cracked and was shorting out. So when I get back from Germany I will pick it up and have it ready to show at the Mini Mid Ohio Truck Meet in Yellow Springs Ohio Aug. 7th.
I now understand when people say a frame off will cost more $$$ and take longer than calculated. But…this truck will be better than it was when it came off the manufacturing plant back in 1970.

Soon, very soon. I think the pics will be taken at the Mid Ohio Mini Truck Meet held in Yellow Springs Ohio Aug. 7th. That will be the first official road trip and what can be better than meeting with fellow truck enthusiasts.

On the brite side...
If we only have a few show up it means the odds of winning a door prize is much higher. So at this point I have a 1-in-7 shot at winning the LMC truck cover.
