Oh boy ive got the sickness

Hi I just joined this forum today actually. very new to the whole restoration game. Been a tech for Ford for 5 yrs but always loved chevys. Just bought this awesome '68 C-10 for $1200. It runs and drives great. I'm going to really start in the late fall restoring it. I was wondering if anyone has any advise on what to start looking for as far as common rust spots or just things to look for. Any help would be great. This forum seems so cool and everyone seems to be very helpful to one another. Thanks for any help. I look forward to a long fun road ahead restoring this truck.

Welcome to the board from the Corn State! There are a lot of great people on this board as well as being a good source of information.

There is also an FAQ forum that has all kinds of Tech info and tips. To get to it Scroll down to the bottom of this page and you will see the "Forum Jump" box. Click on the little down arrow on the right side of the box and scroll down to "FAQ Truck Tech". On that page go down to "Thread / Thread Starter: FAQ Index thread" and click on it. When you get into that scroll through the different sections and you will find answers to questions you haven't even thought of yet....
