Post Stalling out

I recently bought an 87 Chevy Suburbanand it stalled on me today while waiting in line at a gas station and would not restart until nearly 30 minutes later. It has the TBI 350 in it with all the control module stuff. I think it may be the Stator and pickup in the distributor or the ignition switch When it restarted it ran like it should then when I got home from there is stalled again but restarted immediately. Any input would be appreciated.

Carl's 68,

Looks like you have the primary stuff checked. If it cranks it's not the starter. I would suspect the throttle position sensor and the fuel pump. If it's the fuel pump then it's bad or just a faulty ground. Guess where the fuel pump is? Yep, if its like the trucks it's in the fuel tank. Next time it happens have some one crank it and check to see if its getting fuel. If it is then its problem probably lies in the ignition system.

I finally figured out what it was. It was the O2 sensor and the MAP sensor. After it got bad enough it stored a trouble code in the computer and when I scanned them it told me what was wrong. I gues the computerized vehicles are good for something. I just used a paper clip and it told me what was wrong.
