Re: gee i wish my truck was worth 8,000

wife: Sell your truck! I'm tired of looking at it and you spending money on it!
husband: Ok honey, let me add up what I have in it, counting my labor and mark up on parts etc, that way we won't lose any money on it. *snicker*
wife: Exactly! Do not lose money on it! Sell it for what you have in it!
husband: Great plan honey! Wish I would have thought of that. Surely someone will realize what this truck is and have no problem paying $8000. *bwuahaha*
wife: Make sure everyone knows exactly what it is too, I don't want to be known as the type to be deceitful or anything.
husband: Another good idea baby! I guess I'll try my hardest to sell my four wheeled best friend. But you know, it could be that no one will buy it and we have to keep it.
wife: No way! Someone will buy it, just keep trying.
husband: Yes dear. In the mean time I might have to keep doing things to try and make it better and easier to sell. Might cost a few dollars here and there though.
wife: That's fine, if it will help to sell it it's OK.

Maybe that is how it is going down in reality?
