Using 73+ Drop Spindles on 67-72's?

Just wanted to know if using the DJM 3" drop spindles for 73-87's are okay??...Also, should I use the 1.25" rotors?

I am putting a 73+ front suspension on my 72 build at some point and want to make sure it'll work....I have the 73+ center link, will use 73+ BJ, tie rods, etc.....

I want a 4/6 drop so I would use 67-72 1" drop coils in the front and 6" drop coils out back...

Will this work???.....Am I missing anything???...any suggestions???

This is the setup CPP recommended to me.

73+ spindles, 73+ outer tie rod ends, CPP adj sleeve to go to the 72 inner tie rod ends, 73+ upper and lower ball joints.

Not sure on the center link. Mine is not on the road yet either with this setup (waiting on more parts).

I think you should use a 71/72 center link to match the inner tie rods....

So will the 3" drop spindles be okay to use or do they make different drop spindles that are better for 67-72's??

Some of the 3" drop spindles will require you to cut and grind the lower arm for the wheel to steer. Most of the drop spindles will move the wheels out wider into the fender. CPP does make a drop spindle that will pull the wheels in slightly.

If you already have a 71-72 drag-link, the CPP method w/the 71-72 inner/73-87 outer tie-rods will work.

If you have a pre-71 drum truck & are doing this swap on the 'cheap' w/recycled parts, a post-73 set-up is easiest to find (typically) so using all post-73 parts is the way to go (73-87 spindles, tie-rods, & draglink).

I mean't I wasn't sure on your center link. I'm using the 72 one (as soon as I clean the thing up a bit...) lol

Thanks Danny!!!....So wanted to clarify....other than trimming up the lower a-arms I shouldn't have a problem with the 3" drop spindles with 8" wheels?!?!?
