Edelbrock carb and intake?

I'm running a stock 350 four bolt main, and would like to get rid of the quadrajet set up..
Which set up is best ??

1. Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold with Edelbrock 1406 -Carburetor, Performer, 600 cfm

2. Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap Intake Manifold with Edelbrock 1407 - 750 CFM Carburetors.

future plans include a stroke to 383.

Re: Edelbrock carb and intake?

I'm running #1 without any problems. I did add a spacer to fix a heat soak issue, however.

Re: Edelbrock carb and intake?

The RPM air gap will have it downfall in the winter. The carb will take longer to warm up. Great for summer. I run a RPM air gap and 1406 on my ZZ4. Carb is a little small but I do have a 1407 ready to go on.
