Big Block question

Can I run a full roller valve train under stock valve covers? And if not who makes stock looking covers that will? I want the engine bay to look as stock and clean as possible so it looks like it came from the factory like that.

Re: Big Block question

You will need tall VC'ers to run most roller rockers. However, I am pretty sure there are aftermarket spacers out there that will help you achieve the look you are after and allow you to run a modified valvetrain.

Re: Big Block question

Comp Cams or Crower steel rockers will fit under a stock valve cover with no need for extra gaskets, that's what most of the big block guys use when they're going for a stock look. It's the bulky aluminum pieces that cause problems.
