Help!! Need a quick answer!!

Other than the letters on the fromt, is a '70 GMC hood the exact same as a '72 Chev? Will it bolt right on and have the same contours? I see a cherry one in the yard right now and will pull it if it fits mine.

I believe it is exactly the same with the exception of the letters. It's only thr 67/68 hoods that are different

I would look at the rake on the front. I thought someone had answered a thread just like this awhile back. I was under the impression that the 67 and 68 were the same as the GMC and the 69-72 were different. Do a search on the thread. wootdog

I have a 70 GMC hood sitting under the shed and it is the same as the 69-72 Chevy hoods except for the letters.

67-68 chevy and Gm are the same 69-72 chevy and Gmare the same with the execption of the holes for the lettering.

No no 69 1/2, the 72 GMC hoods are ugly junk. Umm, could you tell me where its located at?
