Anyone ever run big all-terrain tires on a lowered 2wd?

Just wondering if anyone has ever done some bigger all-terrains on a dropped 2wd... obviously only the big ones in the back.. like a 33x12.5R15 or maybe even a 31 or 32?

Re: Anyone ever run big all-terrain tires on a lowered 2wd?

LOL I agree, but I have, I had large diameter all-terrains on my 72' C10. This was mainly due to getting them for free (I needed tires badly at the time) but they were also great in the winter. They were the factory issue tires for a F**d F250, 275/65/18, not the prettiest, but got the job done.

Oh and I had them on all four corners with a 3/6 drop (roughly its bagged)

Those aren't all terrains, those are just radials.

Almost gives it a bit of a dirt oval vibe......or maybe a 2wd pulling truck. :look:

Re: Anyone ever run big all-terrain tires on a lowered 2wd?

well i kind of did,

i ran some 31/10.5's on my race 71 truck,

it had no body mounts and cut coils.

they rubbed the fender but served their purpose
