I don't know who makes the gauge cluster. I saw in a mag and cut it out. I'm thinking I have seen them on e-bay. they make the matching ashtray cover and glovebox.

BADASS The Bezel is a stock one. For the most part the gauges should slide right in. You prob will have to trim the bottom holes if you run 2 5/8 gauges. I konw the 5 inch gauges will fit in the stock holes.

So the stock holes are closer to a 2 5/8" than 2 1/16"?

Here is the pic of my gauges. I have a 69 Chevy, I don't know what bezels go with what years. I don't have any pics of the wiring and I already installed the gauges. Everything is wired into the harness at the printed circuit connector. I used a trailer wiring harness so I could make it easy to connect and disconnect. Since my turn signals are in the gauges from the factory, I used 12v lamps in the colors I wanted. I bought them at radio shack.
My bezel was damage by the previous owner and was painted a terrible shade of blue. I painted it flat black and the flaws don't show to bad its just the flash from the camera. This was a practice run. I still need to find a way to mount a fuel gauge in the center. I cut out the holes for the bottom gauges as this bezel type doesn't have them. It works for the time being Last edited by Locutus; 02-20-2003 at 07:27 PM. |

Do a search for THOR50, He has the absolutely, cleanest aftermarket gauge cluster there is!!!! He took the Autometer's and installed them BEHIND the Bezel.. Hot roddy, yet very, very clean. It still even gives it a somewhat Factory appearance.

The 2 5/8 gauges sit on top of the bezel, while the 2 1/16 will fit inside it. Here is a pic of mine I did circa 1990. I kept the GM wiring for everything, and just added the gauges. Some mods to the sheetmetal housing and plastic circuit were needed.
