So i'am ready to bag my 78' stepside. I wana a triangulated 4 link from suicide.com but i wana know whats the differerence between a universal 4 link,superlift triangulated 4 link and superlift pivot triangulated 4 link. I just want a regular setup for the rear. Any help would be thankful. Let me know whatbu guys are runningbon urs please. Thanx!!

Those are probably questions best answered by the manufacturer. How low do you plan to go? Are you going to do a step notch? We need a lot more details on your plans before we can offer advice.

im planning to lay frame. so yeah im gonna need a c notch.what size c notch do i get? also for the front. do i need tubular control arms or can i just use cups and plates? and do i need a crossmember?

Depends on how big your pockets are. You can go to

and buy everything you need there. But you will need a monster c notch and probably a chopped crossmember.

If you truly want to lay frame, the rear is no big deal. You can go with a step notch from any one out there. I do recommend Forum Vendors such as Suicide Doors and Porterbuilt

The front is your biggest stumbling block for laying frame. It's easy to lay the crossmember with stock arms, plates and short cups. You will need dropped spindles, and tubular arms are not required but do have some advantages.

The three common choices for the front are a sectioned crossmember, a raised crossmember, or Z the frame. My personal choice would be the raised crossmember offered by Porterbuilt or Suicide Doors.

I know if I had cash to burn I would buy the raised crossmember kit and get everything you need to get the front end down.

as of right now,i got 2 1/2 dropp spindle and 1 inch spring.so i got the spindles. so what are the advantages of tubularm arms? looks like im guna go with suicidedoors 4 link kit,and raised crossmember. also,what modifications do i have to do if i get a raised crossmember?

From what the site says, if you use the stock a arms they will need to be modified, but if you going to buy the crossmember then go with the a arms also. Also there is a steering linkage notch that needs welded in. And your going to have to buy the rack and pinion steering.
