Cab w/title $300 OBO

I have a 72 cab that has been worked on. It has a good IN 72 GMC title with the VIN Tags. The VIN is a V8 truck vin if that helps.

Condition:
The cab currently does not have cab corners, but the rockers have been replaced and the floor was patched. The cab was taken down to the metal, and not painted so there is surface rust from sitting in a garage. I palm sanded some of it and sprayed primer on the metal.

The pics arent that great, I have no room in the garage and its too dark for the camera to focus.

Re: Cab w/title $350

How are under the floors? Cab supports, and such. And how about around the windshield area? Any rust? I'm looking for a better cab for the 69 and I'm interested. Thanks Ryan.

Re: Cab w/title $350

The floors are pretty good. There is rust, not bad just on the surface. Also in my first post I forget to mention there is on spot on the drivers side floor that still needs a patch. I took a pic.

While I was trying to get pictures of under the truck I found a problem I didnt realize it had. On the inside of the cab near where the rear view mirror mounts the cab has rusted threw. I have a picture of it I will post.

The metal the goes around the windshield is in good shape no problems there.

Now that I found that new rust spot Im not really sure what to the cab is really worth. I do not want to rip anyone off, but I still would like to get some of my money back out of it. If anyone has an opinion of what its worth feel free to pm me or just leave a post in this thread.

I would consider trades. I do need a gmc tailgate, a black bench seat, or even buddy buckets if you are willing to trade them. I dont have any funds in the wishing well so no trades plus cash on my side. Anyway tell me what you got.

No 72s, I have a 69 short bed chasis that has been sand blasted, and powder coated. It is complete minus springs. Also have a 68 lwb 3/4 ton chasis complete. Its really nice for a untouched frame. It came from arizona so its not as rusted as we are used to here in IL.

Re: Cab w/title $350

I have a solid GMC tailgate (67-72 style is what you need Im assuming?). It came off my 68 Chevy project. There are a few small screw holes from where it appears someone screwed a tailgate trim panel over the gmc name. Its straight and I can send you some pics. Thers a lot of surface rust on it though. Are you willing to work a deal for your cab with title? Do you need any other odds and ends? I have a 71 k20 Im parting out. the body is junk but there are a lot of odds and ends.

Re: Cab w/title $350

Yeah I will take pictures of the top and post them. It may be a day or two, but I will get them up. The top is not rusted. The drip rail is all solid.
