69 GMC build progress
ok, here is where i am at. an old thread to this build is at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=361328 . i am posting a few new pics of what is going on now. we are neck deep in body work. new cab corners, rockers, floor supports, floor pans, smoothing the firewall, smoothed the gas tank filler hole, smoothing the cowl, and i am sure i have forgotten something. just as soon as the cab body work is completed i have a huge pile of new goodies setting in the dining room to go in it. leather buckets, all new wiring, new weatherstrip, all new rubber pieces ( gas and brake pedals, bumpers, etc.) all new dakota digital gauges, billet gauge cover and gloovebox covers, new carpet and sound deadener, the list goes on and on. basically everything to complete the interior like new, only better. anyways, i am attaching photos of the current body work. also i got the new fuel cell mounted last weekend. frame was completely disassembled last year and sandblasted and then coated in herculiner. motor and transmission were both rebuilt and i mounted a running gear out of a later model vehicle so i could update how the vehicle handles and brakes! i can"t wait to get this thing on the road! wish i wasn"t working on a limited budget!
