31x10.50R15 tires on a 67 2wd

I am thinking of running 31s on my 67 2wd stock height pickup with 15x10 rims. The rims would have about a -46mm offset. Does anybody know if this would look okay or would it be too much tire for a 2wd pickup. If anybody has this setup could you please post pics.

i cant imagine it could make it look real bad. it will look a little more utilitarian but the question is how much turning radius do you need??

I would like it to look like this truck. I think he's running 31s on 10 in wide rims but I cant tell for sure. I like the way this truck sits.

I know that 33s FILLL out the wheel wells. I don't have any with 31s on it, but on an 8" set of ralleys the trucks look great.

This was Krue's truck a couple years ago when he had the 33x12.50 on it, and yes it is a 2wd.

Re: 31x10.50R15 tires on a 67 2wd

I have 31's on the rear of my truck and I believe they are 8" rims but I'm not sure. I'm at work now so I can post a pic when I get home. The fronts are 245/75/15's.

I'm swapping getting new tires and wheels when I do my drop though.

I have had 31x10.5x15 on 6 lug rallys for a few years with no probs on my 69 2wd. It looks good. There is a pic in my gallery.

Re: 31x10.50R15 tires on a 67 2wd

I've also got 31 10.50 15's on my burb, but on 15x7 rims. They fit fine, and work fine. Much more than 8 inch wide rims would stick out beyond the wheel wells i imagine.
