power to manual brakes
Any of you guys ever done this?
Power to manual brakes? I Assume I will need new master and pushrod for a manual system. Is this bolt on with proper parts. Its for a 86 cab 1/2 ton disk/drum Thanks for any input...

I would like to know also, had a 76 that had disc drum and it had manual brakes.

Boatpuller, yes no vacuum. Plus I had to raise the motor mounts to clear the Hamburger oilpan and I have taller valve covers to clear the roller rockers. That puts the valve cover 3/4" from the booster. So, with all that combined plus no vacuum I thought I would just switch. I could use hydroboost or a vacuum pump but I want less under the hood.

Thanks for cleaning this up Ken. And thanks for the info on the CCP master.
Looks like a swap won't be that hard after all. Just need to find a manual brake rod from the master to pedal arm.
