Help with bags
Just bought me 1972 2wd Blazer and it is sweet. Put a set of coy wheels to start my project and ready to bag it, but cannot find anything to work but ART products. They look good but I think it is to expensive. Is there any help out there or am I going to have to spend the big bucks?

Re: Help with bags
Porter built has some nice products for a decent price. Ill probably end up going that way when I get some more money built up.

Re: Help with bags
It depends on what your needs are. Ride Tech offers bolt in kits for most applications. They do not claim to be the cheapest, but there is no question of quality. You do get what you pay for.
If you want to build it yourself, or want to go lower than a bolt in kit will get you, talk with any of our great forum vendors.

Re: Help with bags
or check around the bagged section for other bagged blazers (or suburbans) to give you an idea of how low you want to go. those bolt on kits are great quality but i dont like how low it goes, and it wasnt in my budget. ***************** and porterbuilt customs are probably the best places to get your stuff at reasonable prices. both of those companies sell kits to raise your engine crossmember, which gets your truck lower than with a stock crossmember.
this is what my suburban looks like with pretty much a basic bag setup. the front has bags, drop spindles, and recessed cups in my lower control arms. the rear setup is bag in place of coil springs (trailing arm setup), 2" blocks, and a porterbuilt step notch.
