A looks and shock question for my 86 C10 (3/5)

I got a no notch 5" drop Belltech kit (Thanks Duallyburb) and I am looking forward to the install. Here is the math part, the front is dead set at 29" top of fender to ground and my drop hangers put my rear at 31" on the left and 31.5" on the right, I have drop hangers on it now and will be removing them when I put the flip on. That would put the rear at 33 and 33.5 respectivly, if the kit is 5" that would put one side at 28 and one at 29, with the cut of the fender difference front and rear will it be easy to tell the rear may be 1/2 to an inch lower than the front. Also does the fact that my 86 swb 1/2 ton has a tow package make any difference also the fact I removed the overload spring.

Whew, that was alot, now an easy one what is the least expensive set of shocks (best deal) I need to get for the drop?

I am also being told I should buy a notch kit even though its a no-notch kit, has anyone had to notch the 5" flip kit they have? Also does anyone know where I can find a stock ride measurment for my C10?

Thanks

Jesse

Ususally when people start to throw numbers around,... I say,... "So what?"
The truth is,... you wanted the flip kit to make the rear lower.
I always lower the rear first and then adjust the front to make it look good.
So with that said,... install the flip kit.
Math doesn't always work "exactly" with these trucks.
What do you have up front?
You can always trim the front coils to bring the front down 1/2" at a time.

I'm not sure what you are asking. Removing the overload will definitely lower it a little extra.

I would look at Summit Racing for their inhouse brand of shocks. I believe Ground Force makes their stuff.I am also being told I should buy a notch kit even though its a no-notch kit, has anyone had to notch the 5" flip kit they have?
Not true. Remove the factory bumpstop and bracket and you will be fine.

Also does anyone know where I can find a stock ride measurment for my C10?
Stock ride is relative. Do you have stock sized tires on it now?

Thanks

Jesse
I answered in your quote above,...
