Spindle bearing and seal kit???

I am in need of replacement spindle bearings and seals for my dana 44 axle. Where is the best place to get them and are they all the same ... ford, jeep, chevy? I have found a few kits online but cant seem to find them locally at napa or anyplace like that. Thanks for the help... once again!

The only part number i have memorized is SBK-1 and that is for the stub shaft bearing, stub shaft seal, slinger and inner seal. You will need this plus the wheel bearings and wheel bearing seal. This is for a chevy, not sure if it fits other brand D44's. NAPA will have everything.

Thanks alot i got the kit. Does the small seal fit down in the spindle to seal the other side of the needle bearing?

Re: Spindle bearing and seal kit???

The seal goes in after the needle bearings, with the lip pointed inward, to keep water/mud away from the bearings. Be sure to grease them, also wipe a little bit of grease on the lip of the bigger seal so lube it against the back of the spindle.

So the big "dust" seal and the small lip seal both seal against the back side of the spindle? I wasnt sure if the small lip seal went inside the spindle first and then the needle bearing after the small seal? \
I appreciate all the help... I bought this axle partially disassembled and now im trying to get it back together. I have had a hard time finding reference material or a manual for this part of the axle.
