Re: My 69 C10
Nice looking truck! I'm curious about the idea of the truck being back-halved with a leaf spring frame. Did you do, or did you see the back-half process? My curiousity comes from the fact that some GMs (GMC trucks) were produced as a leaf spring truck. You indicated it's "My 69 C10", but is it titled as a Chevy? The truck used in my avatar was a 1968 GMC with a Chevy front clip and a slick tailgate. Most people would assume it's a Chevy, but it too is a leaf spring truck.
Anyway, you have a very nice looking truck. Hard to tell from the pictures, but is there a lot of pearl in the white paint?

Re: My 69 C10
i did not see the process, i came across this truck a few months back for a great price. And the information i provided was all the details that the previous owner gave me. And the paint is just white primer right now.

Great looking '69! Check out the Missouri section of the board as we have various meet and greets throughout the state, and one comping up on Sept 10-12 in Riverside, MO (N KC).

Re: My 69 C10
i would love to go to a few, however they will have to wait. i was recently given orders to Japan for the next 2 years. Bad news is that i dont have the truck =( with me here in japan. So i'll have to wait till i return to the states, to continue building her.

Well thank you for your service, but when you return you'll have to make it to one of the events.

Re: My 69 C10
i bought this truck from the PO in the same condition as in the first pics, so as of now it hasnt been that much since i've been in japan. but im trying to return it to a fleetside instead of this newer bed. truck was about 4 grand, and i've got about 2 grand worth of parts i need to put on when i get back.
