I need a replacement switch...I searched some of our Vendor sites w/o any success so maybe I am a lame searcher or these are not easily available. I want to stay stock. Leads?

Re: TH400 Kick Down Switch...where to buy?
The unit you need for your 70 is the switch located out next to the carb. The cheaper version is the one that mounts inside and operates off the 71-72 gas pedel. I have the switch off of my 68, but you would need the wiring harness and some of the small parts that are available through Rick's first generation as well as others (you need to look at impala, camaro and chevelle parts as many of the parts are the same as the truck in the engine compartment). I can check mine and make sure it is ok, but figure $125 shipped if it is good.
