Trim and Option differences in Cheyenne

Good day all !

Looking for some info on trim differences..........I'm looking at a 1972
Cheyenne. It does not have A/C. The glove box door is woodgrain and
has the Cheyenne badge on it. Also has exterior Cheyenne badges.Exterior lower body moldings are black and not woodgrain. Did the woodgrain moldings pertain to Cheyenne Super only? It has a bench seat with houndstooth cloth/vinyl (which I know is OK)

It has 63,000 original miles and is a nice looking truck. Taken very good care
of since new. I am only going by pictures and have not seen in person. Asking
price is $15K. Opinions please ! Also any clarification on the molding questions
I have would be appreciated !

Thanks

Also forgot to mention..............it does not have a tach.
Was a tach standard equipment on a Cheyenne?

Thanks again !

Re: Trim and Option differences in Cheyenne

Something is not adding up on it. If it has a woodgrain glovebox door, that would be a cheyenne super. The lower moldings should be woodgrain also. The tach was an option for any truck and not standard on any. Just an option like A/C. The cheyenne package was basically an appearance package.

Re: Trim and Option differences in Cheyenne

Does it have a cargo light on the back of the cab roof?

There should be a sticker on the glove box door with the options listed - see if that matches up. A truck in the condition you described should still have it.

15K is a lot of green. We need to see pics to give an idea of the value.

Re: Trim and Option differences in Cheyenne

Those aren't the original seat covers - the cloth trim does not extend all the way to the front like that.

Have the guy send a picture of the inside of the glove box door, and you'll have your answer. For $15k, it should have it.

Is that a hood emblem I see??
