Question Pulling out the SM465.

I will be removing the SM465 from my truck and have never pulled this type of tranny. Does the shifter come out from the top so I don't have to jack the truck up so high to slide it out??

Thanks in advance.

the shifter will have to come out of the top.

how to remove:
Put in neatral, remove the shifer rubber boot and Push Down on the Cup and turn it left i think it is and it should pop up the you pull the shifter up
